FRAUD ALERT

1st Mississippi Federal Credit Union is currently under attack from fraudsters sending cell phone text messages that read:

8773131060@1stmsfcu.org

1st Mississippi Federal Credit Union Account locked. Call Online Banking. Services at 877-313-1060 for assistance.

AND

Emails that read:

You have 1 new ALERT message

Please login to your 1st Mississippi Federal Credit Union Online Login

and visit the Message Center section in order to read the message.

These messages are not being initiated by the credit union. Recipients should not reply nor should recipients call the number listed.

If you receive a text message of this nature, please DO NOT respond!

If you did respond or called the phone number in the text message and gave personal information; you DO need to call 1st Mississippi Federal Credit Union at 601-693-6873 as soon as possible and should also report the incident to the Federal Trade Commission at 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357).
